Elche local government has approved an extension to closing times for hospitality, entertainment, and leisure venues, as well as their adjoining outdoor terraces, for La Nit de la Roà. Under the decision, establishments across the municipality will be permitted to remain open until 06:00 in the morning during the night of 14th to 15th August.
According to municipal spokesperson Inma Mora, the local government board has authorised the extended hours to accommodate the high turnout expected during the traditional festivities. The measure applies to a wide range of venues in Elche, including cafes, concert venues, pubs, karaoke bars, restaurants, and lounge spaces, together with their attached terrace areas.
Alongside the schedule adjustment, municipal authorities also approved local supply contracts for hiring tables and chairs needed to support various community events and celebrations held across the districts of Elche.
