David Bisbal has announced a new tour across Spain consisting of 15 concerts, in which he will present the songs from his new album Eternos live. The tour will kick off on 22nd May at the Roig Arena in Valencia and will conclude on 9 September at the Real Maestranza bullring in Seville.
The region will have a prominent role in this itinerary. In addition to the opening concert in Valencia, Bisbal will perform at the Alicante bullring on 10th July. These two live shows add to an agenda designed to visit major venues and bullrings throughout the country.
Following the premiere in Valencia, the Almeria artist will visit the Bilbao Arena Miribilla on 29th May. Dates have already been scheduled for June at the Coliseum in A Coruña on the 4th, the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona on the 11th, and the Principe Felipe Pavilion in Zaragoza on the 12th.
That same month he will offer concerts at the bullrings of Murcia, Albacete, and Granada. These performances will take place on 22nd, 25th, and 26th June respectively, as part of a tour leg focused on large bullrings converted into musical venues.
In July, the Movistar Arena in Madrid will host Bisbal on the 1st. Afterwards it will be the turn of Alicante, where he is scheduled to perform on 10th July at the bullring, a notable date for the public in the province.
The tour will continue at the annex of the Villanovense Stadium in Villanueva de la Serena, in Badajoz, on 17th July. On the 22nd of that month it will stop at the Marenostrum venue in Fuengirola, in Malaga. He will then perform on 24th July at the Concert Music Festival in Chiclana de la Frontera, in Cadiz, one of the few concerts integrated into a consolidated musical cycle.
Except for the Concert Music Festival date in Chiclana de la Frontera, the organisation has arranged a ticket presale for Banco Santander customers. That presale will begin from 12:00 on Tuesday 29th September. General ticket sales will open on 2nd October at 14:00, with access for all interested members of the public.
Eternos, the new studio work by David Bisbal, gathers versions of major romantic songs from the 1970s and 1980s. As explained by the artist’s team, the album is dedicated to the major names of that repertoire.
Among the chosen tracks are Te quiero, te quiero by Nino Bravo, Quijote by Julio Iglesias, and Amor eterno by Juan Gabriel. Bisbal has wanted to reinterpret these classics with new arrangements, maintaining the essence of the original compositions.
The album Eternos will see the light of day on 2nd October. Its release has been linked directly to the new tour, as the concerts will serve to present these versions to the public alongside the singer’s best-known tracks.
In addition to the new songs, the promoter has advanced that the major hits that have accompanied David Bisbal during 25 years of career will not be missing live. The repertoire will feature tracks such as Ave María, Bulería, and Dígale, which are very well recognised by his followers.
Although the first concert in Spain will take place in Valencia on 22nd May, the Eternos tour has actually started in America. The international tour began on 6 October in Santiago de Chile and is scheduled to tour more than 20 cities on the continent.
In this way, Bisbal has outlined a dual calendar. First he has presented the new project on American stages and, a few months later, he will take it to large Spanish venues such as the Roig Arena in Valencia, the Movistar Arena in Madrid, or the Alicante bullring.
