Final preparations to the main stage on Monday

As Benidorm completes its final preparations for this weekend’s Low Festival in the Ciudad Deportiva Guillermo Amor, organisers say that they anticipate 75,000 people to attend the event over the three days of the coming weekend – 25, 26 and 27 July.

This year’s lineup of bands is now complete with headliners including Massive Attack, Kaiser Chiefs, Editors, The Hives, Holy Ghost!, Vetusta Morla, Love of Lesbians, Sidonie, Iván Ferreiro, and the Galician Indie Rock band Triángulo de amor bizarre.

Now in its sixth edition, the fifth to be held in Benidorm, considered to be the tourist capital of the Costa Blanca, the Low Festival will have a total of seven stages and will feature more than thirty concerts each day.

The erection of the main stage was completed on Monday but in the coming days the work force will continue to labour on the many other sites that will host one of the most prestigious musical events on the International festival circuit.
