EARLY MORNING FATALITY ON THE N-332

A pedestrian, described as a 50 year old man, died in the early hours of Friday morning after being hit by a car on the N-332 main road as it passes the town of Guardamar del Segura.

According to the Information and Emergency Coordination Centre, the incident occurred at around 1 in the morning, and the circumstances in which the incident occurred, as well as the identity of the victim, are still being investigated.

An emergency SAMU ambulance attended the scene but could do nothing to save the life of the man.
