Samantha Biddles Councillor for European Residents has been named in the Partido Populars Regional committee for the forthcoming European Elections, Samantha was one of the 3 representatives who were asked to speak during the grand act which took place last Sunday 9th March.
The event had the participation of the national deputy secretary of Studies and Programs Esteban González Pons, President of the Partido Popular in Valencia Alberto Fabra, and the president of the Popular Party in the province of Alicante, José Císcar.
During her speech, Samantha stated that more information is urgently required for European Residents living here in the Valencian area. She stressed that she will be organising meetings and talks within the whole region and the importance that residents take an interest in what is happening in their area.
Ever vote counts for this year’s European elections, we all live here and we all benefit from European funds, it is fundamental that the residents get involved and take an interest in how the European funds are spent, most importantly the Partido Popular listen to the ex-patriots and hear their concerns on a one to one basis. European funds provide necessities which we all require such as Hospitals, healthcare, public transport employment and infrastructures etc etc.
Campaign coordinator, José Juan Zaplana, stated we have campaign committee members with specific responsibilities. The act in Alicante showed that the campaign teams for the provincial PP are prepared and will improve the situation of citizens we will deal with their problems and find appropriate solutions, because as the motto of the Partido Popular says in the Province of Alicante, the most important thing is you. "
