A motorbike rider, believed to be 20 years of age, was seriously injured in the early hours of Sunday morning in a crash with a car on the CV-905 in the San Luis area of Torrevieja.
The incident occurred at 03:20 at kilometre 7 of the road, in the vicinity of the Mercadona supermarket, near a site where a fatal motorbike crash occurred a few years ago.
An emergency paramedic ambulance attended the scene and treated the multiple injuries suffered by the rider, before carrying out a transfer to Torrevieja hospital in a serious condition.
