ALICANTE PATIENT CLEARED IN EBOLA SCARE

The Nigerian man admitted to hospital in Alicante on Saturday does not have the Ebola virus.

The emergency protocol was put in place after the man presented himself at the General Hospital of Alicante, with him then being transferred to Hospital Sant Joan.

The ministry of health has today confirmed that the tests carried out on the man have proved negative, and the ministry has therefore confirmed that he does not have the Ebola virus.
