To mark the end of a busy summer of tennis at the Campoamor golf club, an American tournament was held, incorporating many of the summer tennis visitors.
After 3 hours of competitive and social tennis, the top 2 scoring men and women were paired randomly for the one set final.

1st= Eamonn Ward 20pts 2nd Linda Porter 18pts
3rd Mark Preston 16pts 3rd Sheila Scott 17pts
The one set final was one of the best seen at Campoamor, after a fine display of competitive tennis, Eamonn and Amanda beat Cameron and Linda on a tie-break.
Congratulations to the winners, who both picked up their second Campoamor medal. As usual the players enjoyed a drink together afterwards on the hotel terrace, which has one of the best views right down to La Manga.
Campoamor tennis runs all year, with 3 social doubles sessions an adult group coaching session, holiday junior sessions and individual coaching on a weekly basis.
