The average price of a house purchased last year in Spain by a foreign investor was 381,860 euro. However, Russian buyers, on average, paid 678,424 euro for their purchases, making them leaders in single purchase investors in the country.
In second place were buyers from Germany, spending an average of 338,716 euro, Belgians spent 346,728 euro, The British are in fourth place with an average investment of 190,633 euro, and the French are in fifth place with 171,644 euro.
The data has been released by the association of registrars, which also reveals that the province of Alicante is responsible for approximately 27% of all sales in Spain, with the Russian market also being the most important here.
The information also concurs with data released by the portal Fotocasa, which also confirms that Alicante is od prime importance for the Russian and British markets.
Within the British buyer´s profile, the average investment of 190,633 euro is spent on an apartment, flat or small terraced house, with an average space of 138 square metres.
As for the Russians, they mostly favour upscale houses, large apartments, townhouses or detached properties, with an average of 462 square metres.
