If you have been unfortunate to have been caught up in a longer than usual queue at the Orihuela Costa town hall recently, you are likely to have been further delayed by the fact that the internet connection in the building has been running particularly slowly.
As most of the administrative files are not stored on local computers but require an internet connection for the local officials to access them, this had caused considerable backlogs.
However, the good news is that the company that supplies the internet connection to the town hall has finally accepted that there was indeed a fault, and has set about rectifying the problem this week. Therefore, normal service can now resume.
