On Wednesday 17th December, Specsavers Opticas in Avda. País Valenciano 43-Bajo Guardamar is holding a special Christmas party in store from 10am to 8pm.
During the event shoppers can enjoy Christmas cake and refreshments, festive music and benefit from a 40% discount on purchases.
This event is to help spread Christmas cheer and is also the last opportunity for people to drop off Christmas presents for the Cruz Roja’s Christmas campaign. The aims of the campaign are to improve the quality of life for youngsters in families experiencing hardship, improve personal development and skills through play and ensure that no child is without a toy this Christmas. Toys must be new, non-violent, educational and suitable for both boys and girls under 18 years old.
Specsavers’ Christmas party, discount and charity collection are all part of their commitment to be a positive member of the Guardamar community and support the area. Francisco Jurado, Director Specsavers Guardamar and Torrevieja, has also recently joined ‘Rotary Club Guardamar’ and will be working hard to promote scholarships, fight against Polio and raise money for vaccines. They were recently honoured with the Dama de Guardamar award from the Town Hall to recognise their important role within the community and thank them for supporting and sponsoring cultural and Christmas events in Guardamar and helping residents enjoy wonderful events and outstanding optical care.
Felipe Aldeguer, Guardamar Events Councillor presented Specsavers’ Director with the award and commented; “We thank Specsavers for all their support, year after year with the events and festivals in Guardamar and are delighted to be able to present them with this award.”
Francisco Jurado added, “We are very proud to be given this award and hope that people will come to celebrate with us on 17th December, bring toys for the Cruz Roja, get into the Christmas spirit and take advantage of our 40% discount.”
