The New Year approaches, and if you are planning to make a resolution, why not take up a new and rewarding activity?
A new art class begins at Casa La Pedrera on Tuesday 6th January from 10.30-1.00pm and is for complete beginners as well as more experienced artists. Directions to Casa La Pedrera, can be found on www.thingstodoinspain.info
Tutor, Suzanne Stokes said, ‘I cannot imagine a more perfect setting to relax and paint than the stunning house on the lake, and I’m so excited to be working there. The venue, also known as The Grand Design House, having featured in the TV series, offers so many outdoor activities, and now Jenni Ray is planning art as well as other craft classes inside the house.
My classes are fun and friendly – and participants are often amazed at what they can achieve. Beginners need not bring anything with them the first few weeks as all initial drawing equipment is supplied.
Hobbies are good for you, and even if you are infirm, you may well be able to paint and draw, so why not come along and give it a try.’
Suzanne has been teaching recreational art in the area for more than ten years, and you can find out more about this and other art groups on her website www.sue-stokes.co.uk, or by calling her on 680 961 025.
