THREE EARTHQUAKES IN NINE HOURS

The Valencia region felt three minor earthquakes within 9 hours on Friday morning, one of which was in Torrevieja.

The first occurred on Thursday night at 23:43 local time in the Valencia town of Mislata, registering 2.6 on the Richter scale.

At 04:45, Torrevieja felt a 1.6 magnitude tremor. Finally, at 09:00, the Castellón town of Morella had a 2.2 magnitude quake.

None of the tremors have caused any damage but were felt in their epicentres.
