This year´s Three Kings parade on the Orihuela Costa was once again enjoyed by the many residents and visitors who braved the slightly chilly, though sun drenched eve of the Three Kings celebrations.
Before the parade began, their majesties posed for a photograph along with the Councillor for the coast, Martina Scheurer from the Los Verdes green party of Orihuela, before taking their place upon their selected floats.
Despite there being more adults than children enjoying the spectacle, the Kings still dispensed their goodies as they made their way through the streets, accompanied by dancing girls and boys, drummers and fire eaters and a selection of wildlife, culminating in their arrival at the Zenia Boulevard shopping centre.
Once there, the children were found waiting eagerly to see their King, on the promise that their good behaviour will be rewarded, and indeed it was as every child received a gift for their visit.
AS the official Christmas season now comes to a close, attentions turn once again to the new year and focus on the next twelve months of being good.
