An 80 year old man died today in Alicante after being hit by a falling woman, who it’s believed was trying to commit suicide.
At 11.15 am today on Calle Enrique Madrid in Alicante the woman, a 48 year old Spaniard, fell from the balcony of her home and landed on top of the victim, also of Spanish nationality and a resident of Alicante.
The victim, a man, who was sitting on a bench with his wife, died on the spot due to the impact, whilst his wife had to be taken to hospital de Sant Joan in a state of shock.
According to the National Police, it seems that the woman was suicidal and she was also taken to the same hospital.
