The local police in Marbella have identified the victim of a late-night road traffic collision after a vehicle was found to have crashed into a tree.
The investigation concluded that the driver, a 33-year old male, died as a result of injuries sustained when his vehicle collided with the tree whilst travelling at 270 kilometres per hour.
The vehicle was also carrying a young female of 18-years of age who survived the crash but was trapped inside the vehicle, upside down, suspended by her seatbelt and in a distressed state.
The identification of the victim was further complicated by the fact he was carrying five different identities, including those of a Algerian and Belgian nationalities, but with the help of family members the identity was confirmed and it transpired that there were three outstanding arrest warrants in place for the deceased.
