The Hospital Universitario de Torrevieja has launched a mobile app which allows patients to view their data, history and results on their mobile phones, as well as booking appointments.
In addition, the app can be used to confirm you have arrived at the hospital for a pre-booked appointment, without having to queue to join the admission process. Moreover, the app is available in English.
The aim of the app, according to the hospital, is to improve the experience of patients within the hospital. In order to benefit, users must be registered with the YOsalud Portal and then download the app, Yo Salud, from the Play Store.
Once registered with your SIP details, when the patient arrives at the hospital, “you will receive an automatic notification which tells you which consultation room to go to without having to confirm your arrival”.
In addition, once in the waiting room, the application notifies the patient directly on the phone when to enter the consultation room.
You can download the app on your mobile or tablet by visiting the web pages www.torrevieja-salud.com / www.vinaloposalud.com from any computer.
Once downloaded, enter your personal information: SIP, mobile phone number, health centre and date of birth. This information is then verified in the patient database, with full security guaranteed, and you receive an SMS with a password that will allow you to access the information through the app.
