The University Hospital of Torrevieja has broken its own record for baby births, with a total of eleven little-ones making an appearance in 24 hours.
Of the eleven babies born, eight were boys and the other three were girls, obviously. All babies and mothers are reported to be doing well and receiving the best possible care.
Torrevieja has become a centre of attention for mothers with the hospital’s website being a reference for new parents across the country, but for those locally registered it offers more advice and even interactive elements that allows for everything from appointment reminders to workshops and seminars available to future parents.
The maternity unit offers private rooms and a midwife service for aftercare that continues the quality service offered by the hospital to the homes of those new parents who take up their care from the experts at the hospital, who now have their work cut out with this batch of new arrivals.
