The cardiology service of the Torrevieja University Hospital has organised a heart-healthy route under the motto “keep your heart in shape”, which will take place on Saturday, May 6, at 11:00 a.m., in the Las Lagunas de La Mata Natural Park in Torrevieja.
The meeting is aimed at patients from the Torrevieja health department with cardiovascular disease, family members and health personnel. The walk, organised in collaboration with the Torrevieja Council, does not require prior registration and will last an estimated forty minutes.
Moderate exercise is one of the keys to taking care of our health and preventing cardiovascular diseases. Health professionals recommend that adults get at least 150 minutes of moderate physical activity a week to maintain good cardiovascular health.
This route, which will take place in the surroundings of the Salinero Natural Park, is suitable for people of all ages and levels of physical condition and can be done both walking or running. During the tour, participants will be able to enjoy the natural landscape.
In addition, participants will be treated to a healthy lunch for taking part.
