Torrevieja’s Municipal School of Painting has opened a new exhibition titled “Creative Exploration”, showcasing imaginative artworks produced by primary-school pupils during the 2024–25 academic year. Held in the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Centre, the exhibition explores themes such as emotion, memory and collective creativity, with young artists drawing inspiration from surrealism and classical art techniques.
The collection features a variety of expressive pieces—from abstract colour compositions to narrative scenes—each reflecting the students’ unique perspectives. Coordinated by their painting teacher, the project emphasises experimentation with materials and ideas, encouraging participants to explore their personal artistic voice.
The exhibition will remain on display for two weeks, offering families and the community an opportunity to celebrate the creativity of emerging local talent. Admission is free, and visitors can explore the display during the Centre’s regular hours.
