The Zenia Boulevard shopping centre in Orihuela Costa has unveiled a special line-up of activities for June, designed to serve as a hub for entertainment, culture, and community participation. Coinciding with the start of the summer season, the centre will also extend its opening hours from 15 June, remaining open every day of the week.
The events kick off on 6 June with the “Environment Bingo”, an initiative organized to mark World Environment Day. Starting at 18:00, the activity aims to promote sustainable habits, replacing traditional prizes with native plants that are adapted to the local climate, which helps reduce water consumption and minimize environmental impact. To participate, visitors must join or be members of the centre’s loyalty club and present a shopping ticket worth 30 euro or more.
On 9 June, Zenia Boulevard will celebrate the Day of the Region of Murcia. The celebration will feature traditional dance performances by the folklore group El Candil, and customers presenting a purchase ticket over 50 euro can receive a commemorative mug.
Music takes centre stage on Saturday 13 June with the return of “Zenia’s Talent Show”. This musical competition is designed to discover new talent and give young local artists the opportunity to perform live on stage in front of an audience.
The schedule continues on 21 June with the election of the Queen of Orihuela Costa, a traditional community event where the winner will go on to represent the municipality in official events, parades, and popular celebrations.
To close the month, the shopping centre will celebrate LGBTQIAP+ Pride Month with its “Colour Day” on 29 June. The day will feature a parade through the shopping centre alongside the “Colour Show”, which includes live musical performances and choreography aimed at promoting diversity, respect, and equality.
Managed by Nhood and owned by Ceetrus and CBRE Investment Management, Zenia Boulevard is the largest shopping centre in the province of Alicante, welcoming over 15 million visitors in 2025.
