Residents across the Costa Blanca are being invited to attend a free Scam Awareness and Prevention talk at The Expat Centre in Quesada on 17 June.
Following an update to the event schedule, the information session will take place on Wednesday 17 June at 11:00 am at The Expat Centre, located on Calle de Vilena, 12, 03170 Ciudad Quesada.
The event aims to help local residents recognise the latest scams affecting the community and learn practical steps to protect themselves from fraudsters.
Organisers say the session will cover a range of important topics, including current scam trends, warning signs to look out for, how to safeguard personal and financial information, and what actions to take if you believe you have been targeted.
With online fraud, telephone scams, phishing attempts and identity theft continuing to affect people of all ages, the talk is designed to provide clear, practical advice that attendees can use in everyday life.
The session will also give residents the opportunity to ask questions and discuss concerns about suspicious calls, emails, messages and other potential scam activity.
Places can be reserved by contacting The Expat Centre on +34 865 668 596.
