Torrevieja is launching the summer commercial campaign “Un comercio épico” (An Epic Trade), an initiative promoted by APYMECO with the collaboration of the city council to encourage purchases in local shops. The action will distribute more than 5,000 euro in direct prizes among people who buy in the participating establishments.
The campaign will run from tomorrow, Thursday 3rd July to 31st August and will allow anyone who makes purchases of over 20 euro to participate. The objective is to reinforce the activity of local trade during the months of highest tourist influx and reward both regular customers and visitors.
Among the planned gifts are official kits from the ÉPICO football team, tickets for Aquópolis Torrevieja, 40% discounts to access the water park, backpacks, reusable bottles, lunch boxes, hats, sunglasses, fans and ecological bags. The organisation plans to incorporate new surprises during the summer, with the participation of associated shops and collaborating entities.
According to APYMECO, the campaign seeks to turn every purchase into a more attractive experience and reinforce the relationship between local shops and their customers. The Councillor for Commerce and Hospitality, Rosario Martínez, highlighted the municipal support for initiatives that contribute to revitalising economic activity and strengthening small businesses. The councillor also valued the collaboration with APYMECO to develop actions that favour local consumption.
The president of APYMECO, Jorge Almarcha, pointed out that the new edition aims to encourage residents and tourists to visit the establishments of Torrevieja.
