Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana is launching its weekend night service, Tramnochador, tonight Friday 3rd July, to accommodate summer travellers and night-goers in Alicante. The night service aims to provide safe and sustainable public transport choices for residents and tourists during the peak summer months.
Operating on Friday and Saturday nights throughout July and August, the special late-night transport programme connects the central Luceros station in Alicante with several coastal and inland municipalities. The services cover Line 1 to Benidorm, Line 2 to Sant Vicent del Raspeig, Line 3 to El Campello, Line 4 to Playa de San Juan, and Line 9 between Benidorm and Altea.

Trains and trams will call at all standard stops and stations along these routes to maximise connectivity, with the specific exception of Sangueta station. This seasonal schedule ensures that thousands of late-night commuters and young people can travel safely between major leisure areas without needing a personal car. Passengers can view precise timetables and frequency updates via official station notices, the customer service telephone line, the TRAM d’Alacant mobile app, or the official website.
