The new cinemas at the Paseo del Mar leisure centre in Torrevieja are scheduled to open their doors today, Wednesday, 15th July under the Neocine Premium brand. This marks the completion of one of the most highly anticipated projects in the transformation of the port area. The complex arrives with a focus on latest-generation technology and a commercial offering designed to attract both residents and visitors throughout the year.
The space, promoted by Inmuebles y Negocios del Sol, has been designed to offer a high-end cinematographic experience. All screens feature premium leather seats, and one of them additionally incorporates reclining seats with the aim of improving comfort for spectators.
On the technical side, the cinemas will be equipped with Christie 4K laser projectors, one of the leading names in the sector, which allow for greater sharpness, brightness and contrast in the image. Added to this is the Dolby Atmos sound system, capable of distributing up to 128 sound objects independently in a three-dimensional space, providing an immersive experience. The complex will also have the capacity to screen 3D films, placing it among the most technologically advanced cinemas in the province, according to the company.

The company has also designed a pricing policy with various promotions. The traditional Spectator’s Day will be maintained every Wednesday with discounted tickets, and customers will be able to access the Neocine Fan Club loyalty programme, which offers exclusive discounts and advantages. Furthermore, there will be specific promotions for young people and students, and the cinema will be linked to the Youth Cultural Bonus.
Likewise, Neocine Premium Paseo del Mar will participate in the Senior Cinema Programme of the Ministry of Culture, which allows people over the age of 65 to attend the cinema on Tuesdays for 1 euro, an initiative aimed at promoting access to culture among this group.
With this opening, the Paseo del Mar leisure centre continues to complete its offering in the port of Torrevieja. The addition of the cinemas reinforces the strategy to turn this space into one of the main leisure and dining hubs in the city, with the objective of consolidating it as a meeting point for both the local population and tourism.
