A minor was injured on Monday afternoon, 26th July, following a traffic accident at a well-known golf complex located in the town of Rojales.
According to the Alicante Provincial Firefighters Consortium, the incident occurred after a golf buggy went off the track at the 16th hole. The vehicle fell from a bridge crossing the green, plunging from a height of about three metres.
As a result of the crash, the youngster suffered various bumps and bruises and received treatment from emergency medical services dispatched to the scene.
A heavy rural fire engine from the Almoradí fire station was deployed during the emergency response, with an operational crew comprising a corporal and four firefighters who assisted with care following the accident.
