The emergency services coordination centre received a call yesterday, Tuesday 18th August, at 09:24 reporting the crash that occurred on the RM-F38 road near the district of Dolores de Pacheco in Torre Pacheco. Callers indicated that the cyclist had suffered severe injuries as a result of the impact.
A Mobile Emergency Unit from the healthcare urgency service was dispatched to the scene, but medical personnel could only confirm the death of the cyclist.
Officers from the Guardia Civil were also deployed to the location to manage the incident and direct local traffic.
