Local Police officers in Catral have arrested a man as the alleged perpetrator of a forced break-in at an occupied house. The operation was launched when the owners of the property alerted officers after hearing noises coming from the roof. When they went outside to check what was happening, they spotted a man on top of the house. Upon being surprised, the suspect fled across the roofs of neighbouring properties in an attempt to escape the area and evade officers.
Following the alert, several Catral Local Police patrols deployed to the scene and set up a search operation. Officers conducted sweeps through the surrounding fields and plots of land, tracking the suspect’s likely escape route.
Officers eventually located the suspect hiding among vegetation, where he was covered in mud. After being located, they proceeded to arrest him as the alleged perpetrator of the robbery.
