Easyjet has announced two new routes from Liverpool John Lennon Airport. Flights will launch in 2027 to Murcia and Girona, operating twice a week as part of the airline’s expanding summer schedule.
The Liverpool to Girona route will begin on March 28th, with flights every Wednesday and Sunday. Girona, located in north-eastern Spain, is the first UK route to the city in easyJet’s history. Flights to Murcia will start on March 29th, operating on Mondays and Fridays.
Paul Winfield, director of aviation development at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, said: “We are delighted to see easyJet continuing to expand the choice available for passengers from Liverpool with the addition of Girona and Murcia.”
“These new services will give passengers from across the North West and North Wales even more opportunities to reach popular destinations in Spain direct from Liverpool, while continuing to strengthen the range of destinations available from the North West’s Faster, Easier, Friendlier Airport.”
The Girona service will offer travellers a gateway to Catalonia and the Costa Brava, known for its mediaeval architecture and vibrant food scene. The Murcia route provides access to south-east Spain and its coastal resorts.
Flights are now on sale via easyJet.com and the mobile app. EasyJet holidays is also offering package deals that include hotel accommodation and flight options.

Fares to Girona start from £43.48, while flights to Murcia begin at £42.98.
