Guardia Civil officers have arrested three men aged 28, 31 and 38 in San Vicente del Raspeig as suspected perpetrators of a drug trafficking crime, following the discovery of more than 720 grams of cocaine hidden inside a vehicle.
The events occurred when officers from the Guardia Civil investigation unit in San Vicente were carrying out surveillance work in an area where activity related to small drug transactions had been detected, according to sources from the armed institution.
During the service, the investigators observed three men who were in the vicinity, keeping a certain distance from each other and making hand signals. Afterwards, the three gathered and entered one of the vehicles parked in the area.
Given the observed behaviour, the officers proceeded to identify them and carried out a check of the vehicle. During the inspection, they located several hidden bags inside containing a white substance which, following the corresponding tests, turned out to be cocaine, according to the same sources.

In total, more than 720 grams of cocaine were seized, and the officers proceeded to arrest the three men as suspected perpetrators of a crime of drug trafficking.
The detainees have been brought before the Civil and Investigation Section of the Court of First Instance of San Vicente del Raspeig, with the court decreeing conditional release for all of them.
