The Guardia Civil has arrested a 37-year-old man in Villena, Alicante, as the suspected perpetrator of two armed robberies involving violence and intimidation committed at a local filling station. In both instances, the suspect allegedly threatened workers with a bladed weapon or sharp object to steal cash from the till.
The investigation began following the initial hold-up. A man entered the establishment, intimidated the employee with a bladed weapon, and made off with the takings before fleeing the scene. Officers from the Guardia Civil Investigation Unit in Villena subsequently launched enquiries to identify the person responsible.

Several weeks later, a second robbery took place at the same filling station. According to the investigation, the culprit once again threatened the worker using a sharp object and stole the available money from the till.
