Police in Denia immobilise scooters and vehicles after detecting numerous irregularities

The Prevention and Citizen Security Unit belonging to the Local Police of Denia carried out a special road safety and citizen security operation on Saturday afternoon, 24th October.

During the operation in Denia, officers recorded several violations regarding cars and motorcycles, including one crime for driving without a licence, one infraction for sonometry by exceeding permitted noise levels, one infraction for driving with an invalid licence, one for failing to utilise a seat belt, and three related to the ITV vehicle inspection.

Regarding personal mobility vehicles, the police in Denia noted 11 unregistered devices, one instance of riding on the pavement, one without a helmet, and one without compulsory insurance, resulting in a total of nine vehicles being immobilised.

Additionally, the citizen security controls in Denia led to one seizure of drugs and one infraction for consuming alcohol on a public road.
