Municipal Animal Shelter

The Municipal Animal Shelter, or Albergue Municipal de Animales, is located outside the centre of the town, not far from the Park of Nations, near to the Habaneras Shopping Centre.

The Torrevieja animal protection department is in charge of collaborating, disseminating and managing the care of animals in the town, and to that end runs the municipal shelter where lost or abandoned pets can obtain temporary shelter until a forever home is found.

If you are able to adopt an animal companion, please get in touch with them, as there are many animals looking for a home on a regular basis.
