CHILD CYCLIST KILLED IN LO PAGAN

A child, believed to be just 14 years of age, died on Tuesday after being hit while a riding a bike in the Lo Pagán area of San Pedro del Pinatar.

According to the emergency coordination centre, the incident occurred at around 16:00, when the vehicle and bike collided.

The child was being cared for at the scene by medics, who then commenced a transfer to the Virgen de la Arrixaca hospital in Murcia, although the child was pronounced dead on arrival at the intensive care unit.
