Last Friday, author Rosemary Westwell, gave a talk to AMMA, a newly formed organization that supports carers of sufferers of dementia in San Javier. Rosemary read excerpts from her book ‘John, Dementia and Me’, a novel based on her experiences with her husband as he succumbed to dementia.
The next meeting of AMMA will be on 30th May at Lui’s Lounge, San Javier Camp Site at 11.30 and the group will also be at Lo Pagan on Saturday 31st sharing a stall with Raquel Peña where they will have leaflets in English and Spanish about the organisation.
