GUARDAMAR PARKING METERS RETURN

Visitors to the coastal town of Guardamar del Segura may need a pocket full of change from this week, as paid parking restrictions return for the summer.

The pay and display machines are back in place in the town and are active between the 15th of June and the 15th of September.

Although there are some exceptions, the basic timetable for operation is from 10:00 in the morning until 20:00 in the evening in the blue zone areas.

The much awaited La Siesta park in Torrevieja opened on Saturday, with many people attending the event to check out some of the leisure and pleasure facilities now available in this popular area of Torrevieja. The La Siesta park features all kinds of sports pitches, for football, basketball, hockey, and more, as well as the largest paved pump track in the world, according to the town hall. Torrevieja Pump Track Grand Opening
It's been a long time coming, but the La Siesta Skate Park is due to open this week with the inauguration set for Saturday 16 March at 11:00 a.m. The park contains many different facilities for different sports modalities, and there's seating around the entire area.
