A new guide with legal information about holidaying, residing and working in Spain has now been published by the Diputacion Alicante.

Packed with a multitude of subjects, a lot of which is especially aimed at foreign citizens, there is information on everything you might need to know ranging from signing on the pardon through to information about taxes and pensions for those expatriates who might be working in Spain.

It has been written with the assistance of Embassies, Consulates and a number of non-profit and charitable organizations.

Subjects covered include: the rights of consumers, residency, setting up a business, taxes, property, NIE numbers, elections, social services and much more.

The much awaited La Siesta park in Torrevieja opened on Saturday, with many people attending the event to check out some of the leisure and pleasure facilities now available in this popular area of Torrevieja. The La Siesta park features all kinds of sports pitches, for football, basketball, hockey, and more, as well as the largest paved pump track in the world, according to the town hall. Torrevieja Pump Track Grand Opening
It's been a long time coming, but the La Siesta Skate Park is due to open this week with the inauguration set for Saturday 16 March at 11:00 a.m. The park contains many different facilities for different sports modalities, and there's seating around the entire area.
