CLARO CHALLENGE TO SUPPORT CARITAS

Members of Claro took part in an ‘ice bucket challenge’ last weekend in support of the Orihuela Costa branch of Caritas which provides food for needy families in the area.

The picture shows Cllr Bob Houliston (right) just before he felt the benefit of the cold water.

The challenge has enabled Claro to collect in excess of 500 kg of food from traders, businessmen and members of local associations which will be distributed by the charity throughout the Orihuela Costa.
