REGIONAL PLANNING SEMINAR HELD IN TORREVIEJA

The seminar was held in the Palacio de la Música and was attended by over a hundred lawyers and businessmen

The mayor of Torrevieja, Eduardo Dolon, together with the Dean of the Bar Association of Orihuela, Almarcha Manuel Marcos, opened the one day Seminar on the new Valencia Town Planning Legislation, LOTUP, on Tuesday.

The seminar was held in the Palacio de la Música and was attended by over a hundred lawyers and businessmen operating in the real estate and tourism sectors

The mayor said how grateful he was to the Bar Association for holding the conference in Torrevieja, a town that is quickly emerging throughout Spain as one of the most important in the field of real estate development. He said that the seminar would be of great interest and praised the Association on the quality of speaker, including many public administration professionals that they were able to bring in to explain the new law and clarify any doubts that planners might have.

The much awaited La Siesta park in Torrevieja opened on Saturday, with many people attending the event to check out some of the leisure and pleasure facilities now available in this popular area of Torrevieja. The La Siesta park features all kinds of sports pitches, for football, basketball, hockey, and more, as well as the largest paved pump track in the world, according to the town hall. Torrevieja Pump Track Grand Opening
It's been a long time coming, but the La Siesta Skate Park is due to open this week with the inauguration set for Saturday 16 March at 11:00 a.m. The park contains many different facilities for different sports modalities, and there's seating around the entire area.
