This year’s “Early Bird Christmas Fair” on 2nd November at Salones Carrasco raised almost one thousand euros and it seems that the popularity of this early bird Christmas Fair is increasing year by year as evidenced by the fact that there was a 27% increase from last year in the number of people coming through the door.
The second Friends of the Children of Emaús CHRISTMAS GIFT FAIR will, as in previous years, be at the splendid Denia Marriott La Sella Golf Resort & Spa located close to Jesus Pobre at Alqueria de Ferrando s/n, Denia, Alicante, 03749 . (For directions contact info@fcemaus.com)
It is a two day affair, on Saturday and Sunday 29th and 30th November and doors will open at 11am and close at 6pm on both days. Entry is just one euro. There will be some 140 stalls in the Casino, the Ballroom and the corridors between the two. If you’ve been along in previous years you will know to expect all manner of goodies; if it will be your first visit, be prepared for a surprise!
Father Christmas is making a weekend of it and will be in his grotto for children and parents to visit from 11.00 sharp and he will leave for his dinner at 18.00hrs both days.
He is a very hard working Santa. Every child will receive a gift from Santa and have a photo taken with him by professional photographers, the Schillings. Pictures won’t be expensive and you get the photo to take away on the day.
TOTAL FM will be broadcasting from the Hotel all day Saturday and all day Sunday.
The Jazz & Blues bar will run non-stop food, coffee and beers in the quiet area so that anyone who does not wish to buy gifts for Christmas, anyone who did it all in 10 minutes, and anyone who just need a break can sit and talk whilst the family shop till they drop!
