Taxi rates in Torrevieja will not be increased for the 2015 year, according to the councillor for transport, Eduardo Gil Rebollo.
In a statement, the town hall reports that the regional Ministry of Economy, Industry and Tourism of the Generalitat Valenciana, has approved the continuation of the current rates into next year, for the legal and licensed public transport operators.
As such, the flat rate in daytime, between 06:00 and 22:00, will be a standard fee of 3.36 euro, then 1.02 euro per kilometre. The hourly rate for waiting is 16.60 euro, with a minimum of 3.50 euro.
The special rate for Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, as well as overnight, the standard fee is 4.37 euro, then 1.29 euro per kilometre, 19.73 euro per hour waiting and a minimum of 4.37 euro.
