Sue Gibson of Suzi4fitz and one of her ladies Elaine walker, were pleased to present the mayor of Los Montesinos with a 1000 euros to purchase much needed food vouchers for those in the town who are less fortunate than others and have little or nothing.
The mayor, Jose Manuel Butron and head of Social Services accepted the donation and took them along to a local supermarket to present the money to the manager who agreed that 50 vouchers of 20 Euros each would be produced.
The money was raised from the sale of tickets of the Suzi4fitz and Friends Evening of Entertainment that Sue produced at the School of Music and Culture in the town for two nights in November. A very big thank you to all those involved.
