The Municipal Theatre will be the venue for a Grand Charity Gala on 19 April, the beneficiaries of which will be AFA Torrevieja.
The announcement was made early last week by the Councillor for Culture, Luis María Pizana.
Also attending the press conference was the President and the Director of Torrevieja Mass Choirs, Antonio Martinez and Miguel Guerrero, the Director and deputy Director of the Music Unit of the General Air Academy in Santiago Ribera José Manuel Castelló and José Miguel Santacruz, and the President of AFA Torrevieja, Matilde Sánchez.
The concert programme will be divided into three parts. Part 1 will feature the Mass Choir José Hódar, under the direction of Miguel Guerrero.
The 2nd part will feature a performance by the Music Unit of the General Air Academy Santiago de la Ribera, led by José Manuel Castelló and Part 3 In the third and final part of this Grand Gala Charity Concert pro AFA Torrevieja, will see both the choir and the music unit perform together under the direction of Jose Francisco Sanchez and Armando Bernabeu.
Tickets are on sale at the theatre box office, at a price of 5 euros.
