Spanish pop star Enrique Iglesias is in trouble with the law in America, facing misdemeanour charges of obstruction and driving on a suspended license.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the singer was stopping in May driving on a highway in lanes closed to traffic.
Having been stopped by the police, the officers state that Iglesias jumped from the driver´s seat and into the back and the passenger assumed the driving position. The officers are under no doubt that Iglesias was behind the wheel of the car and his later actions were as a result of having a suspended license.
The court case is set for the 10th of July.
