Three people were seriously injured on Saturday in an incident involving four motorcycles and a car on the N-332 main road between El Campello and Villajoyosa.
The incident occurred at around 16:00 at kilometre 128.
Emergency medics attended the scene along with the Guardia Civil. One of the motorcyclists reportedly tested positive for alcohol at the scene.
Traffic was backed up for some time whilst the debris was cleared from the road.
