The lagoons of La Mata and Torrevieja are an exceptional place for bird watching, but to begin to discover them it is necessary to open our eyes and ears, focus all our attention and, if we have the opportunity, be guided by an expert.

We are in luck! On Sunday August 22 we will have the activity ” Walking among birds “, in which Faunatura’s friends will accompany us to show us the enormous biodiversity that surrounds us.

Will we be able to discover the nightjar with its incredible camouflage? What animal “laughs” among the eucalyptus trees?

La Siesta Park and Torrevieja Pump Track Walk Around
The much awaited La Siesta park in Torrevieja opened on Saturday, with many people attending the event to check out some of the leisure and pleasure facilities now available in this popular area of Torrevieja. The La Siesta park features all kinds of sports pitches, for football, basketball, hockey, and more, as well as the largest paved pump track in the world, according to the town hall. Torrevieja Pump Track Grand Opening
It's been a long time coming, but the La Siesta Skate Park is due to open this week with the inauguration set for Saturday 16 March at 11:00 a.m. The park contains many different facilities for different sports modalities, and there's seating around the entire area.
