Torrevieja has renewed the six Blue Flags that will once again fly on the beaches of Cala Piteras, Los Náufragos, El Cura, Los Locos, Cabo Cervera and La Mata-Sur.

The Blue Flag is an international distinction that recognises the quality of the water of a beach, and rewards the beaches for reaching the required criteria of legality, accessibility, health, environmental education, cleanliness and safety.

In addition to the beaches, Torrevieja’s marinas will also fly the flag at the Club Náutico Marina Internacional, the Real Club Náutico and, for the first time, Marina Internacional, making Torrevieja the most awarded town in the region for Blue Flag marinas.

Plus, the Torrevieja and La Mata Lagoons Natural Park Visitor Centre has also revalidated the Centro Azul 2022 award.
