Continental Obras y Mantenimiento has emerged as the leading bidder to take on the construction works for the Habaneras Auditorium and its surrounding area in Torrevieja, with an estimated value of 9.65 million euros. The municipal contracting board reviewed ten competing offers and awarded the company the highest score of 92.20 points out of 100.
The project encompasses four main actions, including the completion of the Habaneras Auditorium itself, the urban development of Calle Salero, works at the Varadero area, and essential infrastructure updates for water supply, electricity, and storm drainage. The total financial proposal stands at 9,649,944.81 euros, VAT included.
The general execution period for the development in Torrevieja is set at 24 months, which will officially begin following the signing of the site inspection report. Additionally, the winning bid includes an extension of the warranty period by an extra 45 months, bringing the total guarantee to 57 months.
Before works can officially commence, the company must submit required documentation within ten business days. The administrative process will then advance towards the final award and formalisation of the contract.
