The Ministry of Universal Health and Public Health has notified a total of 964 new cases of coronavirus confirmed by PCR test or antigen test since the last update. The new cases by province are 155 in Castellón (191,193 in total), 229 in Alicante (527,151 in total), it was 217 in the last update, and 580 in Valencia (833,480 in total).
Of them, 542 are people over 60 years old. By province: 95 from Castellón, 150 from Alicante and 297 from Valencia.
Valencian hospitals currently have 237 people admitted with COVID-19, 12 of them in the ICU: 35 in the province of Castellón, 0 in the ICU; 69 in the province of Alicante, last time it was 66, 1 of them in the ICU, and 133 in the province of Valencia, 11 in the ICU.
5 deaths due to coronavirus have been reported since the last update, all with a date of death in the last 7 days. These are 2 women aged 65 and 95, and 3 men aged 64 to 91. The total number of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic amounts to 10,058: 1,195 in the province of Castellón, 3,838 in Alicante and 5,025 in Valencia.
