The Torrevieja City Council’s Local Governing Board met on February 13th and 27th to approve the awarding of two contracts for the lease of new vehicles for the Torrevieja Local Police force, including their full maintenance. The contracts will be awarded through an open process that follows harmonised rules, and the money will be paid in advance. The total cost will be 261,998.88 euros.
Lot 2 has four motorbikes with police gear, while Lot 1 includes three patrol cars and a 9-passenger van that can also be used by the police.
Lot 1: Three patrol cars and a van that can hold nine people
TRANSTEL, SA has won Lot 1 for a total of €197,181.60. The company that won said they would improve things by giving each vehicle in the deal a third key.
Lot 2: Four motorcycles with police gear
COOLTRA MOTOS, SL has won Lot 2 for a total of €64,817.28, which includes VAT. The winning offer contains the following changes:

30 calendar days less than the maximum delivery time set in the Technical Specifications.
Length and performance of the contract
The contracts will last for four years from the date they are signed, and they cannot be extended. They will be carried out according to the rules set forth in the tender and the offers made by the winning businesses.
The Torrevieja City Council is continuing to modernise and strengthen the Local Police’s material resources with this award. This will make the police more effective and safer for the people.
